The line continued on embankment now Triq il-Linda for a further 500 yds. to Attard
station passing over the Attard to Birkirkara road on a two span
iron girder bridge with masonry abutments and central
support.
From the bridge to get
back on the route: proceed along Triq Birkirkara and turn right
at the junction with Triq il-Donna to the park entrance on the
right. The park occupies the site of Attard Station. and has a contemporary reminder
of the old railway. |
