The Corinthia Palace
Hotel situated on the opposite side of the road to what was once
the site of San Antonio station. |

San Antonio station was 3 miles
900 yds. from Valletta and was used mainly by visitors to the
Gardens of San Anton Palace which was a very
popular place to visit, especially on feast days. The gardens
also contain some railway
relics. To accommodate
the extra trains that were timetabled for the visitors to the
gardens the track at this point had a passing loop. |
